UMBC Mock Trial Starts 2017 With Success
The A Team Finishes Fourth and the B Team Earns a Trio
This weekend both the A and B Team competed at Johns Hopkins' Blue Jay Invitational. The A Team finished fourth in the tournament overall, earning honorable mention awards, with a record of 5-2-1. Additionally, Summer Akhtar earned her first ever attorney award and Kayla Smith earned a witness award. The B Team earned 3 wins against stiff competition. The teams will now turn their attention to next weekend, as the A Team heads to Georgetown and the B Team heads to the Charm City Classic Invitational.
