Description
Join the CyberDawgs on Friday, April 18th, for the in-person kickoff of DawgCTF 2025, our annual beginner-friendly cybersecurity competition. This in-person event will be held in Commons 329 and Commons 331 from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
Here’s what to expect:
Team Info: DawgCTF is a team-based competition (up to 4 members). You can form teams in advance, on the day of the event, or connect through the Discord: https://discord.gg/NTJaCuaUTm

Note: The in-person event is only a portion of the full DawgCTF competition that runs from Friday, April 18 at 12:00 PM through Sunday, April 20 at 12:00 PM. So even if you can't make it to the in-person event, you can still sign up for the competition and solve challenges virtually: https://app.metactf.com/join/dawgctf25

Here’s what to expect:
- A full day of Capture-the-Flag challenges designed for all experience levels
- Free food and drinks or all in-person participants
- Tech prizes for top-performing teams at the end of the day
- The chance to connect with other students, form teams, and work alongside the UMBC cyber community
- Make sure to bring your laptop and charger to stay in the game all day!
