Hello everyone !
UMBC AIAA, in collaboration with Retriever Robotics and UMBC ASME, is scheduling a visit to Middle River Aerostructure Systems (MRAS), a leading manufacturer of complex aircraft systems, right here in Maryland! The firm manufactures thrust reversers, nacelle components, rocket and missile systems, and fully integrated propulsion solutions, among other aerospace structures.
MRAS has agreed to give interested UMBC students a tour of their facility. This is a great opportunity to get up close with real, industry-level aerospace engineering, as well as a chance to network with MRAS engineers, for those interested in pursuing engineering internships.
The visit will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, with an estimated departure time of 8:00 AM, and a return time of 1:00 PM, and is free to all UMBC Undergraduate students.
